BIBLE PROPHECY - The Tribulation In Detail

THE UNIVERSAL NEWS BROADCAST-Part 15

If you’ve just tuned in, you are listening to a special UNIVERSAL NEWS BROADCAST. We are recapping the major past events, from Israel’s rebirth through the Tribulation and destruction of the world during the Battle of Armageddon.

WARNING ABOUT TAKING THE MARK
AND WORSHIPPING THE IMAGE

A message went out throughout all the earth, so all would know. That message was—if any person worshipped the Antichrist and the image of the Antichrist, and if any person took the mark on his forehead or on his hand, the wrath of God would come upon that person. There could be no forgiveness for them. It would be an unforgivable sin. It was an unpardonable sin.
That person would be tormented with fire and sulfur forever and ever. All that did this would be tormented, even as the Antichrist, False Prophet, and Satan himself would be tormented.

Yes, the False Prophet did deceive the world with his miracles, but then Moses and Elijah also did miracles and warned the people. The False Prophet’s power was not enough that he could stop the two prophets of God. So the world knew the truth, yet the world ignored the truth for fear of being put to death for not worshipping the image and taking the mark. It was not until 1260 days after they began their ministry that the two prophets of God were killed.

Every person listening to this broadcast has heard that loud, overbearing voice in their mind, pushing them to do things they knew were wrong.

Several factors entered into their thoughts.
One was their personal desire to do something that was wrong.
The other was their fear of God.
If a person’s personal desire to do wrong was stronger than their fear of God and His judgment, then they sinned. If a person’s fear of God was stronger, then they did not sin.

It may be compared to Moses and Aaron in Egypt. AARON CAST DOWN HIS ROD BEFORE PHARAOH...IT BECAME A SERPENT. THE MAGICIANS OF EGYPT, THEY ALSO DID IN LIKE MANNER-Ex 7:10,11. From this, the people might have wondered who was really of God. But then, AARON'S ROD SWALLOWED UP THEIR RODS-Ex 7:12. This left no doubt that Moses and Aaron were of God, and the magicians were not. Yet they still did not believe.

And God’s warning to all that took the mark and worshipped the image did come to pass. It was written: AND THE SMOKE OF THEIR TORMENT ASCENDETH (or goes, or rises) UP FOR EVER AND EVER: AND THEY HAVE NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT. Those WHO WORSHIP THE BEAST AND HIS IMAGE, AND WHOSOEVER RECEIVETH THE MARK OF HIS NAME-Rev 14:11.

THE ADVANTAGES OF TAKING THE MARK AND WORSHIPPING THE IMAGE
VERSUS NOT DOING SO.
PERSECUTIONS AGAINST CHRISTIANS WERE ALMOST INDESCRIBABLE

Those that were deceived and worshipped the image and took the mark had their life prolonged for 3½ years. They were not persecuted for following Christ. They could go about business as usual.
They could buy and sell during the last part of the Tribulation.
However, for those that took the mark and did worship the image—it did not keep many of these people from being killed by vandals.
It did not keep them from getting sick and dying by the many plagues that came.
It did not protect them against false accusations from their neighbors.
It did not protect them from the many judgments of God that came upon the earth.
It did not protect them from being killed, when Christ and the saints returned during Armageddon.
It did not protect them from eternity in the lake of fire.

On the other hand, for those that refused to take the mark and worship the image, there were two possibilities for them.
One—they were caught and suffered great persecution, and then were killed; but afterward, they were forever with the Lord with great joy.

The other possibility was they had to flee for their life, yet God was with them and protected them and provided for them for 1260 days, including Armageddon. Then, they went into the Millennium. During this period, a person’s lifespan was greatly extended.

Never again, will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; he who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere youth; he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.

During the second part of the Tribulation, the authorities were looking for people that followed Christ, as they had not worshipped the image. They had not pledged their allegiance to the Antichrist. These followers of Jesus were considered enemies of the state and of all people. They were hunted down as the worst type of criminals. Once caught, they were tortured and then beheaded, unless they gave in and worshipped the image.

People betraying people was commonplace. Satan and his Antichrist tried to rid the earth of every living person that followed Christ. The government, the military, the police, and most people were all on their side. Very few that followed Christ survived the Tribulation.

Note—it is believed by every staff member of this broadcast that what you are listening to or reading—would have been an immense help to every person that was not raptured (which was most people). This was because they needed to know what was going on and what was going to happen next as their life may have depended on it.

One-third of Israel had escaped and was being protected by God. Satan was unable to stop them from escaping, as God had made a way for them. These went into the Millennium after Armageddon and repopulated the earth. These numbered about 4 million Jews, consisting of men, women, and children.

The Gentiles that refused to take the mark were not be able to buy or sell.
Those that refused to worship the image were tortured and beheaded, if they were caught.
It was very difficult to survive the last 3½ years, without taking the mark and worshipping the image.

Many Gentiles, through the mercy of God and His protection, did survive the Tribulation—hiding and running for their lives. The eyes of surveillance devices were everywhere. It was a time of great fear, especially for those that refused to worship the image and take the mark. They were also protected during Armageddon. These also went into the Millennium to repopulate the earth. We never knew how many there were, but it was believe to have been more than 4 million.

Many that tried to survive were betrayed by their friends and relatives. Relatives were against relatives. Friends betrayed friends. Children betrayed their parents, and even wives and husbands betrayed each other.

Nevertheless, those that were caught did get the victory. For after they were horribly beaten and beheaded, they were before the throne of God. Never again, would there be any more pain or suffering—only joy in the Lord. And then, they returned with Jesus at the time of Armageddon in their new spiritual bodies. They reigned and ruled with Jesus for one thousand years. They never had any more tears.

During the FIRST PART of the Tribulation, the saints were KILLED for their WITNESS OF JESUS. They had THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS. They were killed FOR THE WORD OF GOD.

Those that were killed during the SECOND PART of the Tribulation was because they refused to WORSHIP THE BEAST and they had not WORSHIPED THE…IMAGE.

In addition, they were not able to buy or sell, because they had not received his mark upon their foreheads or on their right hands.

In addition, they were not able to buy or sell, because they had not received his mark upon their foreheads or on their right hands.

Nevertheless, these saints did get the victory.

They got the victory:

They got the victory and overcame:

It was written: Rev 15:2-AND I SAW AS IT WERE A SEA OF GLASS MINGLED WITH FIRE: AND THEM THAT HAD GOTTEN THE VICTORY

STAND ON THE SEA OF GLASS, HAVING THE HARPS OF GOD.

AND THEY SING THE SONG OF MOSES THE SERVANT OF GOD, AND THE SONG OF THE LAMB, SAYING, GREAT AND MARVELLOUS (or wonderful) ARE THY WORKS (or the things you have done) LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. JUST AND TRUE ARE THY WAYS, THOU KING OF SAINTS-Rev 15:3. The singing of the song of Moses (the Old Testament) and the song of the Lamb (the New Testament) shows there is no conflict between the Old and New Testaments.
WHO SHALL NOT FEAR THEE, O LORD (ADONAI), AND GLORIFY THY NAME? FOR THOU ONLY ART HOLY-Rev 15:4. Few in the church age, prior to the Rapture, truly feared God. The fear that was taught in many churches was related to reverence. It should have been related to GOD IS GREATLY TO BE FEARED IN THE ASSEMBLY OF THE SAINTS-Ps 89:7.
Rev 20:4-AND I SAW THRONES, AND THEY SAT UPON THEM, AND JUDGMENT WAS GIVEN UNTO THEM: AND I SAW THE SOULS OF THEM THAT WERE BEHEADED

AND THEY LIVED AND REIGNED WITH CHRIST A THOUSAND YEARS. These were killed, but they had gotten the victory.

They overcame the Antichrist by the word of their testimony.
No matter what came against these saints, they would not shrink back from their faithfulness in obeying God and their testimony of Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Even if their children were taken from them and tortured; even if their children went hungry; and even if they were slandered, tortured, and ridiculed; or even if they were killed, they would not turn from obeying God. They would not turn from their testimony of Jesus. These were not lukewarm.
These loved not their lives, even when torture and death was ahead.
These understood: Phili 1:21-FOR TO ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST, AND TO DIE IS GAIN.
These understood that to be with Christ was far better than to be in this world.
These understood that life is the test we must all go through.
The true saints did keep God's commandments, which testified of their love for God. The true followers of Christ did remain faithful to Jesus, even when confronted with death.

Many saints were martyred in the first part of the Tribulation.

However, the second part of the Tribulation saw the greatest massacre of saints in the history of the world. Many saints were brutally tortured, beaten, spit on, and mocked. Everything imaginable was done to them to force them to worship the image and take the mark.

The faith of many during the Tribulation was such that nothing would move them.
That kind of faith was rare among the people of the last church age called the Laodicean age, which lasted from Israel’s rebirth to the Rapture.

When the Rapture came, many were left behind because their faith was weak, and they obeyed not the Gospel, which was sin. Their faith was such that they did not overcome the world. The ones that overcame through faith are those that belonged to God.

The preaching of that time (before the Rapture) was so people-pleasing that true or strong faith was rare.
Few had the faith that would enable them to stand the test of being beheaded.
The least little thing, in those days, could cause a born again Christian to turn aside from God’s calling.
 No lukewarm Christian was raptured.
When even the slightest distractions happened to the lukewarm people of that day, they usually put the things of this world first.
When it came to the things of Jesus, they tried to fit them in sometime later.
Their jobs, their families, their desires all came first.
A total, uncompromising commitment of love and obedience to Jesus in those days was rare.

Husbands loved their wives more than Christ.
Parents loved their children more than Christ (which is the Word).
Wives loved their husbands more than Christ.
People put their jobs first and Christ second.
People put the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, the lusts of all sorts of things, and pleasures before Christ. Many people put their will, their desires, their plans, their hopes first, and Christ second.
Few people, that is very few people allowed Christ (Who is God’s Word) to reign and rule over them at all times. Few esteemed God’s Word as more important than the food they put into their mouth. Few lived for Christ. Many claimed they “received” Christ, but they did not follow Him.
If Christ was not—the Lord of a person’s life, they were left behind.

However, this greatly changed after the Rapture.
The 144,000 went forth preaching the Gospel, as it was taught by Jesus and His disciples. (Note: this kind of teaching was uncommon before the Rapture.)
The 144,000 prepared the people for what was ahead. What was ahead, for most, was being killed for the name of Jesus; but then afterward, there was glory, and joy, and peace beyond description. For some, the Millennium was ahead.

After a person was killed for the sake of Christ, the Scriptures gave this account of what happened next.

AND WHEN HE (the Lamb, Jesus) HAD OPENED THE FIFTH SEAL, I SAW UNDER THE ALTAR THE SOULS OF THEM THAT WERE SLAIN (or put to death) FOR (proclaiming) THE WORD OF GOD, AND FOR THE TESTIMONY (or bearing witness) WHICH THEY HELD-Rev 6:9. During the Tribulation, many were killed for proclaiming God’s Word and for the testimony of Jesus.
AND THEY CRIED (or called) WITH A LOUD VOICE, SAYING, HOW LONG, O LORD, HOLY AND TRUE, DOST THOU NOT JUDGE (or until You judge) AND AVENGE OUR BLOOD ON THEM THAT DWELL ON THE EARTH (on the inhabitants of the earth-NIV)?-Rev 6:10.
God answered by telling them that they should rest for a little season. In other words, the Tribulation was not yet over.
AND WHITE ROBES (which is the righteousness of the saints) WERE GIVEN UNTO EVERY ONE OF THEM; AND IT WAS SAID UNTO THEM, THAT THEY SHOULD REST YET FOR A LITTLE SEASON (or a little longer), UNTIL THEIR FELLOWSERVANTS ALSO AND THEIR BRETHREN, THAT SHOULD BE KILLED AS THEY WERE (or as they had been), SHOULD BE FULFILLED (or completed)-Rev 6:11.
 TWO GROUPS were revealed here.
THE FIRST GROUP was under the altar, saying, “How long?” They came out of the first part of the Tribulation.
THE SECOND GROUP was killed shortly thereafter. Both groups LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH-Rev 12:11.

(The second group) AFTER THIS I BEHELD, AND, LO, A GREAT MULTITUDE (or a huge crowd), WHICH NO MAN COULD NUMBER (or too large for anyone to count), OF ALL NATIONS, AND KINDREDS (or tribes), AND PEOPLE, AND TONGUES (or language), STOOD BEFORE (or in front of) THE THRONE, AND BEFORE (or in front of) THE LAMB (Jesus), CLOTHED WITH (or dressed, or wearing) WHITE ROBES, AND PALMS (or palm branches) IN THEIR HANDS. The palm branches can indicate victory.
The Scriptures portrayed a huge number of people during the second part of the Tribulation, which was also called the Great Tribulation. These people were from every nation, tribe, people, and language on the earth. Now these stood before the throne and before Jesus, clothed in white robes, the garments of righteousness.
AND (they) CRIED (or shouted) WITH A LOUD VOICE, SAYING, SALVATION (or victory) (belongs) TO OUR GOD WHICH SITTETH UPON THE THRONE, AND UNTO THE LAMB-Rev 7:9,10. Both the Father and the Lamb (Jesus) were being exalted by this multitude.

FOR THE LAMB WHICH IS IN THE MIDST (or center) OF THE THRONE (will be their Shepherd). (He) SHALL FEED THEM, AND SHALL LEAD THEM UNTO (springs of) LIVING FOUNTAINS OF WATERS: AND GOD SHALL WIPE AWAY ALL TEARS FROM THEIR EYES-Rev 7:17.

AND ALL THE ANGELS STOOD ROUND ABOUT THE THRONE, AND ABOUT THE ELDERS AND THE FOUR BEASTS, AND FELL (down) BEFORE THE THRONE ON THEIR FACES, AND WORSHIPED GOD-Rev 7:11. The martyrdom was a great time of victory. It turned into a great time of exalting God, as they said, AMEN: BLESSING (or praise), AND GLORY, AND WISDOM, AND THANKSGIVING (or thanks), AND HONOR, AND POWER, AND MIGHT (or strength), BE UNTO (or belong to) OUR GOD FOR EVER AND EVER. AMEN-Rev 7:12. This great multitude was full of joy, as they gave praise and honor to God.
AND ONE OF THE ELDERS ANSWERED (or asked me), SAYING UNTO ME, WHAT ARE THESE WHICH ARE ARRAYED IN WHITE ROBES? AND WHENCE CAME THEY? (or who are they, and where are they from?)-Rev 7:13.
AND I SAID UNTO HIM, SIR, THOU KNOWEST (or you know). AND HE SAID TO ME, THESE ARE THEY WHICH CAME OUT OF (the) GREAT TRIBULATION (or great persecution), AND (they) HAVE WASHED THEIR ROBES, AND MADE THEM WHITE IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB (Jesus)-Rev 7:14. These were people that were not raptured, as they, at best, were lukewarm (or nominal, or “so-called”) Christians. During the Tribulation, the Holy Spirit opened their understanding, and they believed God’s Word.
As said, the Word being brought forth by the 144,000 was a much different Gospel, than the ear-pleasing gospel preached by most before the Rapture.

These took a stand for Jesus. When the time came that they were to take the mark of the beast, they did not do it. When they were to worship the image of the beast, they did not do it.
Their faith was unwavering, even in light of their children being tormented before their eyes. That kind of unwavering faith was rarely seen before the Rapture.

Their robes were washed or became spotless through the blood of Jesus.
It was written, BLESSED ARE THE DEAD WHICH DIE IN THE LORD FROM HENCEFORTH: YEA, SAITH THE SPIRIT, THAT THEY MAY REST FROM THEIR LABOURS; AND THEIR WORKS DO FOLLOW THEM-Rev 14:13. As was written previously-AND I SAW THRONES, AND THEY SAT ON THEM, AND JUDGMENT WAS COMMITTED TO THEM. THEN I SAW THE SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAD BEEN BEHEADED FOR THEIR WITNESS TO JESUS AND FOR THE WORD OF GOD, WHO HAD NOT WORSHIPED THE BEAST OR HIS IMAGE, AND HAD NOT RECEIVED HIS MARK ON THEIR FOREHEADS OR ON THEIR HANDS. AND THEY LIVED AND REIGNED WITH CHRIST FOR A THOUSAND YEARS-Rev 20:4. The verse ends, showing them during the Millennium: AND THEY LIVED AND REIGNED WITH CHRIST A THOUSAND YEARS.
This great multitude of saints are now comforted and full of joy. Nevertheless, for the sake of Jesus, during the Tribulation, their suffering and persecution were great. As it was written, IF WE SUFFER, WE SHALL ALSO REIGN WITH HIM-2 Tim 2:12.

SUMMARY OF THINGS ALREADY COVERED

The events that came, the torture, the agony, the hardships that took place were worse than at any time that had ever existed. It was worse than Sodom and Gomorrah. It was worse than before the flood. It was worse than any time since the Creation itself. It was so bad, that if God had not shortened the Tribulation, no one would have survived.

THE ANTICHRIST MAKES WAR AGAINST THE SAINTS
HE DESTROYED THE HOLY PEOPLE AND THE SAINTS

Many of those that did flee were betrayed by their closest friends or relatives. Many were caught, greatly persecuted, humiliated, beaten, tortured, and then beheaded. Many did turn from their faith under this immense pressure.
A remnant did escape to repopulate the earth during the Millennium.

The only power the saints had to overcome the Antichrist during the Tribulation was: THEY LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH-Rev 12:11.
Satan also destroyed all the “holy” people that did not escape when the Abomination of Desolation occurred.
It is written, AND IT WAS GIVEN (or allowed) UNTO HIM (the Antichrist) TO MAKE WAR WITH THE SAINTS (or God's holy people), AND TO OVERCOME (or conquer, or defeat) THEM-Rev 13:7.

I BEHELD (or watched), AND THE SAME HORN (which was the Antichrist) (he) MADE (or was waging) WAR WITH (or against) THE SAINTS. All that followed Jesus, he sought to kill. AND (he) PREVAILED AGAINST THEM (defeating them)-Dan 7:21. The Antichrist continued to prosper UNTIL THE ANCIENT OF DAYS CAME-Dan 7:22. The Antichrist prospered until Jesus returned.
AND (the Antichrist) (wore) OUT (or oppressed) THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH…(the saints) were GIVEN INTO HIS HAND (or handed over to him) till the 1260 days expired.
The Antichrist (did) DESTROY THE MIGHTY AND THE HOLY PEOPLE-Dan 8:24.

THE TWO WITNESSES CONTINUED ON TO THE END OF THE TRIBULATION

The two witnesses were given power by God to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing was able to hurt them.

They brought forth truth, but the Antichrist, False Prophet, and the image brought forth lies.

During the 1260 days of their prophecy, the two prophets had the power to shut off the RAIN in the land of Israel. Other areas were also affected.

Thus, Israel had no rain during the last 3 ½ years of the Tribulation.
Their farms became dust. The grass disappeared. The cattle and sheep had no where to graze.
The grapes dried up. The vines withered. The seed rotted. The land was desolate. The barns broke down. The corn withered.
The wild animals groaned. They cried. The herds of cattle were perplexed, because they had no pasture. The flocks of sheep were desolate.
Fire devoured the pastures in the wilderness. Fire also devoured the trees of the field.
The rivers of water dried up.
The hills and mountains were a waste. The pools dried up.

The Jordan River, especially the part south of the Sea of Galilee, had greatly diminished over recent years because of several factors. Now, with no rain, what remained had further deteriorated.
The snow on Mt. Hermon ceased which fed the Jordan River. Much of the northern part of Israel had become somewhat like the southern part—a dried up wilderness. Underground springs had dried up, which fed some drip irrigation systems.
The Dead Sea, which had been dropping for many years, dropped even more.
The Sea of Galilee, which had also been dropping for many years, but had recovered a bit, now continued to drop further, as little water flowed into it from the northern part of the Jordan.

This also accounts why the Euphrates was dried up during the end of the second part of the Tribulation. This allowed the Kings of the East to advance upon Israel.

The two witnesses had power that exceeded all the powers of the enemy. Nothing could hurt them. Nothing could stop them from prophesying.
As said previously, when any tried to hurt or kill them, fire came forth and devoured their enemies. Many did try to kill them in all sorts of ways, but those that tried to do so, were themselves killed.

With all the powers that Satan, the Antichrist, and False Prophet had, they could not undo the miracles the two witnesses did. They could not bring rain, neither could they kill the two prophets of God.

Living conditions in Israel became worse and worse.
Yet two-thirds of the Jews and much of the world took the mark and worshipped the image. They followed Satan and the Antichrist, even though it could clearly be seen the God of heaven, working through Moses and Elijah, was far stronger than Satan, the Antichrist, and False Prophet.

In addition to turning off the rain, the two witnesses had the power to turn the waters to blood. This was also one of the miracles Moses did thousands of years ago.

They also had the power to strike the earth with whatever plague they desired. They could do it whenever they desired. Moses also did such miracles thousands of years ago.

Elijah also had powers to smite the earth with a curse. Elijah turned the hearts of the disobedient to the wisdom of the just and was making things ready for the return of the Lord.

As a result of the 144,000 in the first part of the Tribulation, and Moses and Elijah in the second part, the world heard the Word of God that was taught through them. Through worldwide communications and handheld devices, the Word went forth.

As already said: for 1260 days the words the two prophets spoke, the miracles they did, the plagues they brought upon the world, the attempts of many that tried to kill them, the inability of Satan, the Antichrist, or False Prophet to stop them was known everywhere.

As said previously, the two witnesses spoke God’s Word such as:

IF ANY MAN WORSHIP THE BEAST AND HIS IMAGE, AND RECEIVE HIS MARK (on) HIS FOREHEAD, (and) (on) HIS HAND, THE SAME SHALL DRINK OF THE WINE OF THE WRATH (or fury) OF GOD, WHICH IS POURED OUT (full strength) INTO THE CUP OF HIS (or rage).
These people SHALL BE TORMENTED WITH FIRE AND (sulfur) (before) THE HOLY ANGELS, AND (before) THE LAMB.
AND THE SMOKE OF THEIR TORMENT (arises) UP FOR EVER AND EVER: AND THEY HAVE NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT…WHO WORSHIP THE BEAST AND HIS IMAGE, AND WHOSOEVER RECEIVETH THE MARK OF HIS NAME.

They also spoke such things as: THE VOICE OF HIM THAT CRIETH IN THE WILDERNESS, PREPARE YE THE WAY OF THE LORD, MAKE STRAIGHT IN THE DESERT A HIGHWAY FOR OUR GOD. EVERY VALLEY SHALL BE EXALTED, AND EVERY MOUNTAIN AND HILL SHALL BE MADE LOW: AND THE CROOKED SHALL BE MADE STRAIGHT, AND THE ROUGH PLACES PLAIN: AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD SHALL BE REVEALED, AND ALL FLESH SHALL SEE IT TOGETHER: FOR THE MOUTH OF THE LORD HATH SPOKEN IT, as Isa 40:3-5 said.

They also spoke: BEHOLD, I WILL SEND MY MESSENGER, AND HE SHALL PREPARE THE WAY BEFORE ME: AND THE LORD, WHOM YE SEEK, SHALL SUDDENLY COME TO HIS TEMPLE, EVEN THE MESSENGER OF THE COVENANT, WHOM YE DELIGHT IN: BEHOLD, HE SHALL COME, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS. BUT WHO MAY ABIDE THE DAY OF HIS COMING? AND WHO SHALL STAND WHEN HE APPEARETH? FOR HE IS LIKE A REFINER’S FIRE, AND LIKE FULLERS’ SOAP, as Mal 3:1,2 said.

The two witnesses also spoke things regarding Bible prophecy that related to what was happening and would happen.

They brought many judgments upon the seat of the Antichrist, upon Israel, and upon the world. Time and time again, people tried to kill them, but to no avail.

There was no repentance if a person did these. These sins were as the unforgivable sin, which was blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Their ministry continued for 1260 days. Elijah was a sign to the Jews. As mentioned previously, they shut off the rain.

All the world had the chance to hear the words of Moses and Elijah. It was for a witness unto all nations; and then the end came.
